Privacy Policy

THE PULL is operated by Robin Waters. This policy explains how information is handled when you use THE PULL.

Information you provide

To generate a relationship reading, you may provide names or nicknames, birth dates, optional birth times, birthplaces, and whether the reading is romantic or friendship. A selected birthplace may include coordinates and a historical timezone. You may also choose a photo stored on your device for a saved chart.

How information is used

Birth information is transmitted to service providers only as needed to calculate astrology data, generate the requested reading, operate subscriptions, prevent abuse, and maintain app security. THE PULL does not use birth information to provide medical, legal, financial, or mental-health advice.

Local saves and photos

Saved charts, reports, Resonance scores, and selected photo references are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app, clearing app storage, or losing the device may remove this content. THE PULL does not currently provide cloud backup for locally saved customer content.

Service providers

THE PULL uses service providers for astrology calculations, generated reading text, app hosting, optional authentication infrastructure, and subscription management. These may include AstroWay, Replit and its AI integration providers, OpenAI, Clerk, RevenueCat, and Apple. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy practices.

Subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple. RevenueCat helps determine whether a subscription entitlement is active. THE PULL may receive an anonymous app-user identifier and subscription status, but does not receive your full payment-card details.

Sharing

If you use the native sharing feature, you choose the destination and recipients. Shared reading text can include names and relationship insights. Review the content before sharing and obtain permission before entering or sharing another person’s information.

Retention

Local content remains until you delete it, reset the app, or remove the app. Service providers may retain request, security, and transaction records according to their agreements, legal obligations, and privacy policies. We aim to limit transmitted information to what is needed to provide and protect the service.

Your choices

You can avoid providing names, mark a birth time unknown, delete locally saved charts or reports, decline to share reports, manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings, and delete an optional account from the Account screen.

Children

THE PULL is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit a child’s information without authorization from a parent or legal guardian.

Security and international processing

Reasonable safeguards are used, but no service can guarantee absolute security. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their legal and contractual safeguards.

Changes

This policy may be updated. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
